About Me

I am a BACP-registered counsellor with over 12 years of experience supporting adults and young people (aged 16+) through some of life’s most difficult moments. Whether you are facing anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, or loss, I offer a calm and supportive space where you can feel truly heard — without judgment or pressure.

My counselling approach is person-centred, which means I believe you are the expert in your own life. I’m here to walk alongside you, gently and patiently, as you explore what matters to you and what might need to change. I won’t offer quick fixes or tell you what to do — instead, I will help you find your own answers, in your own time.

Many of the people I work with have lived with self-criticism, abuse, depression, or feelings of being stuck in unhelpful patterns. You might feel overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure where to begin. That’s okay. We start wherever you are.

My own journey into counselling was a personal one — shaped by witnessing people close to me struggle with rigid thinking and emotional distress. I came to deeply understand the healing power of simply being heard, of feeling safe enough to say what is really on your mind — even if it feels messy or confusing. Sometimes, that alone can be transformative.

I offer both in-person sessions from my comfortable, welcoming therapy room near Paisley town centre (with off-street parking and nearby transport links), and online sessions if that suits you better.
