For Counsellors & Trainees

Clinical supervision

A warm, collaborative space to think about your client work with curiosity and compassion — in person in Paisley, or online across the UK.

I currently have some availability for new supervisees

Supervision built on relationship

I'm a qualified supervisor and an experienced person-centred counsellor with over 13 years' experience working with adults in private practice. Throughout my career I have supported clients with a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions and suicidal ideation.

My approach to supervision is grounded in the same values that underpin my counselling practice: empathy, authenticity, respect and collaboration. I believe supervision works best when there is a genuine relationship where both supervisor and supervisee can think together openly and honestly.

I recognise that supervision is about much more than accountability. It is a space to celebrate what is going well, explore the moments that feel uncertain or challenging, and support your ongoing development as a practitioner. My aim is to offer a supervisory relationship where you feel safe to reflect, question, learn and grow, while always keeping the wellbeing of your clients at the heart of our work.

Rather than offering quick answers or rigid direction, I aim to support you in developing confidence in your own professional judgement, while providing appropriate support, challenge and accountability.

Your first conversation

Choosing the right supervisor is an important decision, which is why I offer a free 20–30 minute introductory conversation. This gives us an opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your practice and what you're looking for from supervision, and consider whether we'd be a good fit.

If we decide to work together, our first supervision session will include contracting and an opportunity to explore your current practice, the clients you work with, any previous experience of supervision, and your hopes for our work together. I'll also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have.

There is no obligation to continue after our introductory conversation, and you're welcome to take time to decide whether my approach feels right for you.
